Heather Gatley is a freelance illustrator from Worcestershire, UK, now living and working in Berlin.

Her practice centres around observational drawing and handmade mark-making which she creates using a mixture of mediums, applying expressive washes of watercolour and ink to bring her reportage-style drawings to life.

Heather’s harmonious style balances colour and gesture with an economy of line which allows the eye to fill in the gaps, lending an elegance to her work that has proved consistently popular with high-end brands and lifestyle clients.
